OK, Water Run Cars are pure Science Fiction people! Don't be fooled! When I first heard about water run cars, I thought it was too good to be true, and it is. While it is true that cars can run on some of the byproducts of water, namely hydrogen and oxygen gas, a car can't run on plain water.
The mythbusters did a show about water run cars, and they got it all wrong too. At least they followed instructions for building the hydrogen generator for vehicles. But they ignored the part about how it becomes only one part of the intake system.
They tried to make a water run car with ONLY the hydrogen on demand system that I've been reading (and writing) about.
Now many car companies are working on Hydrogen powered vehicles...but those entail a hydrogen fuel cell as the primary fuel source. This is not what all of these guides are about for running your car on water.
The run your car on water guides are about making an On Demand Hydrogen Generator for vehicles that adds a small amount of hydrogen gas to your intake in order to help the gasoline combust more completely...resulting in cleaner exhaust and better fuel mileage.
If you want to read more about how a water run car can help save the planet and save costs on fuel, sign up for the email list on this site: www.fuelscam.com It's the best review that I've read so far on the subject. Hydrogen Generator Design
I've been reading up on hydrogen generator design. I'm really excited about putting my own together. Probably in the next two weeks I'll start working on my own hydrogen generator design. Best I can tell, the basic electrolyzer is pretty straightforward to make, but getting it streamed into the air intake and making sure that the oxygen sensor is working right is the slightly more difficult part. Not that it seems difficult, but you gotta get it right.
That website I keep mentioning actually has a bonus on O2 Sensor Tweaks, but you have to purchase a guide through them to get it. I'll be buying a guide anyway, I just need to decide which one will be the best for me. But if you want the O2 Sensor Tweaks guide that they are offering, just sign up for their email list and they will give you instructions.
So I wonder what my hydrogen generator design will end up being?

Cool Ways to Build a Hydrogen Generator
Ok, so I'm seriously thinking about cool ways to build a hydrogen generator for my car. I started this blog last fall with the idea of creating an online gas mileage calculator, and since then, I have begun to look into all the ways of actually improving my gas mileage.
The more I read about how to build a hydrogen generator, the more I think it's the real deal and not a scam! In fact (see my last post), I accidentally built a hydrogen generator when I was 8 with parts I found in my basement (yep, I was a science geek for sure!).
So that got me to thinking, are there cool ways to build a hydrogen generator? So I started to look around the internet. The two coolest ways I've uncovered so far, i found on other hydrogen generator blogs.
One of them is to simply use two stainless steel kitchen drain screens that you can buy at any grocery store, along with some plastic zip ties. A few plastic spacers to hold the two apart along with two wires connected to a car batter were all that was needed. I think I found that one on YouTube.
The other really cool way, and the way that I will probably try, is to use stainless steel light switch plates! They already have screw holes in two places. All you have to do is thread plastic spacers on the screws between each light switch plate, and presto, you've got TONS of surface area! Now that is a COOL way to build a hydrogen generator!
Don't forget about that site I mentioned the other day...they will send you a PDF report busting all the Myths around Hydrogen Generators for Vehicles...just sign up for the list and they will send it to you.

Make a Hydrogen Generator For Your Car
Make a hydrogen generator with parts you can buy at the store? Sounds like a science experiment from junior high school...but nowadays, it's easy to make a hydrogen generator for your car!
The crazy part, is that it's so easy, you can have one made in a few hours with parts that will cost you $60 or less. The basic materials include a housing, stainless steel plates, vinyl tubing, some wiring and a safety valve.
All of the materials you can find at a home supply store, like Home Depot, Lowe's, or your local Ace Hardware store. The safety valve you may have to go to an aquarium store...any pet shop that sells aquarium supplies should have one.
So is it really that easy to make a hydrogen generator? It's so easy a child could do it!
True story...I accidentally made hydrogen when I was about 8 years old... playing with an old 12 volt battery, some wires I found, mixing baking soda and water. Some instinct told me that "something" would happen and sure enough, as soon as I attached the wire to the battery terminals, little bubbles started to form! While my father had never said to me, "Don't Make a Hydrogen Generator!" He still disapproved of my little experiment!
Are you ready to make a hydrogen generator for your car and start saving money on gas? The best way to avoid frustration and cost is to buy a set of pre-made plans. I found site with a fun video that will send you a list of plans to make a hydrogen generator. They also have a great "Fuel Scam" report if you sign up for their list.

Water - Fuel For Your Car?
Water Fuel For Your Car - Is it Possible?
I don't know about you, but I've been seeing these reports all over the internet for building a car with water for fuel. Can water fuel really work?
Seeing as Honda recently announced the FCX Clarity, hydrogen powered cars are soon to become mainstream. The Honda FCX uses stored hydrogen to make electricity, which powers the car.
With a water fuel car, the hydrogen is produced as needed, instead of being stored in a hydrogen tank. I'm no expert, but it sounds like this would be a safer way to go about using hydrogen rather than carrying it around in a tank!
The hydrogen fuel cell pictured here can be made from inexpensive materials found in a hardware store...maybe we should all think about running our car on water, instead of gasoline?

Run Your Car On Water and Double your Gas Mileage
Can you really Run Your Car on Water?
Yes, you can. Running your car on water, or Hydroxy Gas will turn your car into a hybrid that basically runs on water. Both gasoline and diesel engines can be converted with equipment that costs less than $59 at a Hardware Store.
Hydroxy Gas, also known as HHO, is made from the electrolysis of water, or H2O. When a liquid is energized into a gas, the molecules making up the gas expand quickly. If this gas is enclosed in a small space, like an engine cylinder, the piston will move, creating the motion needed to ultimately turn a crankshaft, and therefore your run car on water.
You'll see critics around the internet saying that running your car on water, or HHO Gas is a scam. But converting a substance from liquid to gas is just basic high school chemistry. I even heard (well, read) one person who compared this to alchemy, turning lead into gold. If you don't want to bother looking up your periodic table from high school chemistry, I'll just tell you...turning lead into gold is impossible, it would require adding elements to the nucleus of the atom.
But turning liquid into gas? That's called combustion, and is a basic chemical reaction that occurs in your car and in your stove every day.
You're probably thinking that something doesn't quite add up. How can you possibly run your car on water? Remember, we're not talking about running your car on water vapor, or gaseous H2O in vapor form...we're talking about Hydroxy gas...HHO. Here's the equation:
2 H20 (liquid) -> 2H + 2OH (gas)
Take a look at these two sets of plans that will help you do the following:
Buying one of these guides will save you a lot of money and frustration:
Run Your Car On Water
This is a 90 page e-book with a 56 day return policy that will teach you how to turn your car into a water burning hybrid. It costs $47, which is half the price of the other guides you might find online..
Water 4 Gas
Ozzie Freedom is posing here with his hybrid conversion at a recent show in Las Angeles for Water Hybrids. Ozzie has two different manuals for sale, one for Trucks that Run on Water, and the other for Cars that Run on Water. He's got very detailed plans and instructions. You can see the table of contents to run a car on water right online so you can see a preview.

Gas Mileage - Is it improved with Acetone in Gas?
A friend of mine just sent me an email with an idea for improving gas mileage that really seems to good to be true...adding Acetone in Gas! Now I'm not going to claim to be an expert on this, but I did take organic chemistry in college. The idea is that acetone increases the volatility of gas, creating finer vapor particles and resulting in improved gas mileage.
Critics claim that adding acetone will damage your engine's parts, including seals and gaskets, but proponents state that the actual amount of acetone added is so small that it will have no ill effects. I don't know the right answer to whether or not acetone in gas will damage your engine, but I do know that improving your gas mileage dramatically is an awfully attractive benefit of trying it!
I found this neat gadget that you could use if you decide to add acetone in gas to your car. It plugs into the computer diagnostics port of most cars made since 1996. You can see your actual gas mileage at every instant of driving, which will certainly help you improve your gas mileage by itself.
But if you decided that acetone in gas is something you want to experiment with, this little device will let you see your real time gas mileage.
If you've tried this, please leave me a comment as I really want to know if it works and if it's safe. The acetone that is. I'm sure the Scan Guage is safe!
